Norma Morgan (b. 1928) Norma Morgan is an engraver and painter of landscapes and figure subjects. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Morgan won scholarships to attend the Hans Hofmann School and the Art Students League in New York City. She had her first solo exhibit in 1954.

An African-American artist, Morgan has rarely portrayed figures from the African-American community in her work. Since the 1950s one of her primary subjects has been the moors of Scotland and England, where she has spent much time. Her ability to render light and the range of tones in a vast landscape is evident this fine print, A Catskill Winter. Morgan's work is included in many collections in the United States and Great Britain.
